I agree. Why make such a long film and then not have an ending? It's a film, not a TV show, cliffhangers just don't cut it. At least with Kill Bill, the second part was released about six months later. How am I supposed to still care, this time next year?
There is a precedent, though: Back to the Future Part 2. Doesn't make it any more acceptable...
I have to agree. Even though I very much enjoyed watching the "slide down the sail using only a knife" thingy, the ending made me mad. And that hammer-head baddie was rubbish-looking.
